Emergency luminaire for escape route lighting. The housing is suitable for wall or ceiling mounting and is made of plastic. For the emergency luminaire with LED light source, a single battery integrated in the luminaire serves as a backup power source. A heating device is included to protect the battery from low temperatures. This makes the luminaire suitable for use in areas with ambient temperatures below 0 °C. The high protection class of the luminaire allows it to be used outdoors.

The emergency lighting luminaire is equipped with a monitoring module for automatic function and operating duration tests to ensure operation in accordance with DIN V VDE 0108-100-1 and DIN VDE 0711-400. The status display (ready for operation, charging operation, battery operation, battery error, LED/electronic error) is provided by a two-colour status LED. The integrated battery contains electronic charge monitoring and deep discharge protection.
