The Premier Inn Hotel “Lübeck City Stadtgraben” was built at Moislinger Allee 9 in Lübeck and opened at the end of October 2022. It is the most northern house so far and the 32nd hotel of the brand in Germany. With its economic attractiveness as a regional center, Lübeck attracts many business people, but also domestic tourists. The Premier Inn Group has a total of 800 hotels in England and the rest of Europe.
The hotel with the premium economy concept is located within walking distance of the old town and has 103 rooms. It offers a “city balcony,” rooms overlooking the moat and a staircase with typical Nordic clinker bricks and natural stone floors.
The property comes from the Centro Group portfolio, which was acquired by Premier Inn Germany late last year. This included 13 former Centro locations, six of which were existing properties. Lübeck is the first of seven of these hotels that were still in the planning or construction stage at the time of the takeover and are now completely reopening as Premier Inn.
The emergency lighting comes from FiSCHER and is supplied, controlled and monitored in each fire section via INSiLIA 1 low power systems. When selecting the emergency luminaires, the stylish interior design concept of the hotel was taken into account. In order to integrate the luminaires into the concept in the best possible way, T6 emergency luminaires were designed in the special colors gold or anthracite, depending on the installation location. With the intention of disturbing the flat ceiling appearance as little as possible, recessed BRE luminaires were installed inconspicuously in the ceilings. A3 luminaires are used as escape sign luminaires. In the outdoor area, P6 bollard luminaires provide emergency lighting for the escape route from the last exit to the assembly point.
